Connect an existing CMS
Use the CMS snippet in the website installation guide. Put a textarea or input with your configured output field in the CMS form. data-intebuild-output chooses that exact form field.
The editor button uses the current pathname as the page reference. Set data-intebuild-ref to your stable record ID when needed; references must stay stable across openings. The owner signs in through intebuild and confirms creating a new central page.
After central Publish, the parent integration writes the public loader into the chosen field and dispatches an input/change event. Save the CMS record using its normal writer once. Later central publications update the embedded content automatically.
For existing CMS staff permissions, implement a backend adapter. Keep the website server credential in the backend, verify the logged-in CMS user and CSRF, resolve the central page through POST /api/server/page with pageRef and field, then obtain POST /api/server/session. Pass the short-lived grant to the central editor with exact-origin postMessage. Never expose a server credential in browser code.
